Going by new press reports, the government of Enugu state has begun reconstructing more than 241 bus shelters that was destroyed by hoodlums during last month’s #EndSARS protests.
Unlike the previous bus shelters that were prone to vandalisation, the ones under construction are made of bricks.

According to press reports, Josef Onoh, the chairman of ECTDA, recently took pressmen around the New Haven Junction in Enugu to see the set of bus shelters that have now been completed. He reportedly explained that the state government is being forced to execute the project at this time by using the funds meant for other projects.
