So a lot if Christian's talk about a time when all the good guys would be raptured to heaven while the bad would remain on earth to be tortured by the devil.
I just did a bible research only to find out that nothing of such is mentioned in the bible.
Please could anyone help with bible verses that talk about this.
Note... people usually refer to Matthew 24.40-42 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken..... but these really does not tell if it's the rapture of the righteous or the destruction of the wicked.
Then others quote 1thessalonians where it talks about the righteous meeting Christ in the sky but we learn from other scripture that Christ is coming back to the earth so they wouldn't remain in the sky. They would have to land after welcoming his in the sky.
No single scripture speaks of a time that only Satan and the unrighteous would be in this world.
Instead we learn of a time Christ would return and rule.

Rapture is real.

Rapture means collecting of believers of Jesus Christ away from the wrath of God that will befall the Earth, and preceding the millennial reign of Jesus Christ (Read up Matthew 24 and Revelation 11)

St Paul explained the process of rapture (corroborated and expanded on what Jesus taught in Matthew 24:31)... "At the last trump, Jesus will come again, and give a shout, the dead will rise first and those still alive will get caught up to meet with Jesus in the clouds"
