The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on Tuesday pronounces to guardians and understudies to surrender trust in the resumption of scholastics in tertiary establishments.

The association made this known during a press preparation on November 17 in Abuja and furthermore advised speakers to look for elective methods for endurance.

As per the association’s Abuja Zonal Coordinator, Prof. Theophilus Lagi, the central administration of Nigeria is yet to show genuine responsibility towards tending to our center requests.

He said; “Today, we wish to let Nigerians, especially our students and parents know that there is no hope in sight to ending or suspending the ASUU strike that has lingered for several months as government is yet to show serious commitment towards addressing our core demands.
