Joshua Beckford was adopted by Daniel Knox after he was abandoned by his Nigerian parent at the hospital because of his medical condition.

His father became aware of a programme at Oxford University that was specific aimed at children between the age of eight and thirteen. His father wrote to the school and he was admitted for the 1 year programme at age 6.

Joshua Beckford was never admitted into oxford university (department of philosophy and history) nor did he graduate from oxford at age 14 as the media wrote.

You see the media have a way to make a news look sensational when they want to pursue an agenda.
