if you look at the address bar it eventually leads to another webpage.
please, can someone explain what's going on to me.

That a website is using HTTPS by itself doesn't amount to anything. Instead HTTPS ensures your communication with a verified entity is not hijacked.

HTTPS being safe means your transaction from a person to another is locked and can’t be unlocked until the hacker has two key from both parties sharing info to unlock the message.

Now this does not prevent loop holes in your website nor prevent hacking on your website it only guarantee you safe transmission which to the best of my knowledge it does it very well.

Try to understand me that people now design such a web now to defraud people, then people like me believe a page with https is secured and information gotten from there is reliable, if you do that again no one you are gonner.

Sadly, you don't understand how HTTPS works. Lol.

The problem is that HTTP data is not encrypted, so can be intercepted by third parties to gather data passed between the two systems.
