Why he was busy distracting the lads in their training camp by joining them to train as if he was invited to camp, he didn't think of sacking himself or resigning because of his actions.

But now that the results wasn't favourable he all loud about sacking someone that is better than him.

What has he achieved as a minister of sports?

Sack him and replace him with who exactly? Can we all genuinely say they have supported him the way they should?

I just hope we are not taking two steps forward and four steps backward.
support him how sir. They should sign ronaldo or messi for him?

If it was a two-legged affair, Sierra Leone would have knocked out Nigeria on away goals rule.

But the minister lacks the power to sack the coach. Only the NFF that appointed him can sack him.

Exactly

Nonsense. Rohr is not a bad coach. Stop changing coaches like jackets. Even if Mourinho were to manage Nigerian national team, we wont get anticipated results,

This is not good, he should be given more chance, the players have not played in a while, they are rust.

Why are they dragging their feet?

If Rohr was a Nigerian they would have sacked him 2 years ago.

Look at how they treated Keshi who managed to win a title. What has this man done?

Long overdue.

Let us fail or succeed with local coaches and used the forex wasted on opportunist foreign coaches,to develop the local coaches.

Nigerians are among the best in other professions , coaching can never be an exception!

Just the right training and exposure.

NwekeUG:
Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare has questioned the "suitability and competences" of coach Gernot Rohr after Super Eagles' back-to-back draws against Sierra Leone in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign, IgbereTV reports.

Dare made this known on Twitter and threatened that the 'needful will be done' following the performance of the Super Eagles from their last two matches.

Recall Nigeria threw away a four-goal lead to draw 4-4 with Sierra Leone in their first-leg clash at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, Edo State last Friday, November 13th.

In the second-leg which took place on Tuesday, November 17th at the Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown, the game ended in 0 - 0.

The Minister stated in his tweet that 'Nigerian football deserves better' and also tendered an apology to 'football lovers' over the Super Eagles' recent performances.

We should always strive to have the best of what we can afford. The Rohr experiment is not productive and farm from being successful. Bench marked against Otto Gloria and Clemens Westerhof it is just not good enough. He should be let go but should complete the qualifiers. I cannot see this team beating the likes of Senegal and Algeria. Nigeria are traditional medalists on the continent. These days we are barely hanging on. There are better materials out there in Europe.

It's not advisable to sack him now. He should be given time and adequate support to take the team to the AFCON with a mandate to get to the final or lift the trophy then we could judge him on that and decide if he's the right coach to lead us to the world cup 2022.

You are killing youths , froze their accounts and sending them to court to be punished and you are expecting them to bring honour to you? Never! Infact, they will deliberately concede defeat in future matches.
