Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by Genbuhari3: 6:57pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
I can't believe a station that is claiming to be a sister station to CNN can mess up twice in 1 week! it's really a shame. Nigeria must work! |
Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by Genbuhari3: 7:00pm On Mar 18, 2011 |

Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by timbuktwo: 7:00pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
they're still waiting for ribadu (and GEJ possibly) to turn up. imagine if obama turned up late for a debate. he'd be lambasted. but here, naaa, it's just an african "thing". |

Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by timbuktwo: 7:14pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
EzeUche_: dude, it's common courtesy in ANY culture to be prompt ESPECIALLY when you are supposed to be addressing the nation. just because he is the president doesnt mean he can behave anyway he sees fit. he's a public servant. WE pay his wages. he works for us, you dullard. p.s. have you ever stopped to think that maybe the reason our country is so backwards is because we have backwards customs and traditions. |
Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by timbuktwo: 7:15pm On Mar 18, 2011 |

Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by Pukkah: 7:19pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
EzeUche_: I guess there is a mistake here. Late-coming is frowned at in every part of Nigeria as far as I know. Let's call a spade a spade, late-coming is an act of indiscipline which must be eschewed by Nigerians. I wish all the contestants well. May the best of them, that would provide the much-needed leadership to put Nigeria where it rightly belongs, win the elections. |
