It depends on your phone and the game being played. I downloaded a 3d game about 2gb, it worked but it lagged sọ badly. I use snapdragon 636, if you use 720 and above you should be fine.

thanks for d reply.. I downloaded the game call of duty modern warfare and it lags very much.. 28 to 20 fps in indoor and 10 to 18 fps outdoor where there's alot of activities going on in d background... I used Samsung Galaxy Note 8 snapdragon variant.. I think the emulator still needs a good optimization to run better..

it works on high end devices. Ive seen it. Your phone is a little Outdated, maybe you should just stick with ppsspp till you upgrade to a better one. There are also very good android games that will work on your phone.

grin feeling as how. Emulation is tricky business as you're trying to play a game that's designed for an hardware on another completely different one. It will have issues. That's why you need a very strong gadget. Psp is old but it will run all its games smoothly, if you move to android that is supposedly supposed to be more advance, you will have issues on some of their games. Android have a lot of heavy nice games that wont stress you. Stick to them. Or you look for already ported games. Eg Gta san andreas, bully, max payne if you're feeling nolstagic

it's a tricky business. I know.. but the truth is that all these games running in emulator can run smoothly on android when ported to android. I believe that android is more powerful than the so called consoles that are emulated. smartphone powers are going up day by day... d problem with all this emulator is that's many are not programmed well and it requires alot of power because it's more like creating an alternative software console in your phone and these coding is limited to phone management in the aspect of ram and processor..

it's not like when you load these emulator, all the your RAM and processor will load the app,
your operating system in your phone is already programmed to dedicate so ram in running apps and user interface so you can have a smooth performance. the operating system can't give these emulator the power they need because they are assumed as normal apps that don't require much processing power.. that is why some smartphones companies like xiaomi, Lenovo, ZTE , and others created a gaming smartphone.. they coded a separate user interface in d phone that gives d phone ability to load games app with high processing power of the phone.

I believe with time sha they might sought it out.. but before then I think it's best for me to just stick with your advice
