I have suffered today because of a stupid Tecno phone that is not even mine. I was on my own when my neighbour came knocking on my door. She said her phone has been hanging and asked if I could help her factory reset it. Factory reset? "Your files nko?" She said I should just go ahead and reset. I nodded. She went away saying she will come back to check later.

I went to normal setting o and factory reset the phone. After 30 minutes, the phone was still booting. I whispered to myself, "Wahala!" One hour gone and the phone was stucked on the boot logo rebooting every minute and having seizures. At that moment, I knew that I have entered one chance. The last time I sweated like this was during my exams in school days. Knowing that my neighbour is a very troublesome woman, I quickly rushed to the nearest phone technician to "flash" the phone. We agreed price. I was sweating badly. After waiting for about 30mins, the guy said he couldn't fix the phone. I rushed to another guy, 40 mins and the guy nodded his head saying he couldn't fix it, too. As I write this, I'm at home right now waiting for my really troublesome neighbour to come. I don't even know what to tell the woman. All I did was to factory reset a phone. Isn't that normal? Who send me work now.

Yeah sometimes just charging with a wrong charger causes the error, I think tecno didn't test the OS of this pouvoir cuz I've seen numerous complains on Google about this dm-verity error..

But the issue could easily be fixed at Carlcare

That operating system don crash, I don't think its gonna be fixed. Just tell her that the phone was ready to die and only needed someone who could bury it, give her a small button phone to mange

not true, the thing is that it's never advisable to update a rooted phone cos that can cause it to crash. That's a general rule not about brands
