they should give that one percent to ASSU and give national assembly the 65 billion offered by ngige , this national assembly is worse than buhari, they can't compel the federal government to give even 2 percent of the budget to funding schools, a budget of half a trillion is not bad for a start

When food is not available for the poor anymore then the poor eat the rich as their next meal.
That is where Nigeria is going now.

Mr Lawan, as the leader in the house of reps representing the people, such an utterance is very wrong, and misrepresents democratic principles. You are there to represent the people, and put pressure on the executive, there to checkmate the executive, not to become rubber stamp house, this is unfair, and it is shameful that we allow partisan party interests and pocket interest, override the interest of the people you are there to serve. The people own the commonwealth, we have a right to demand for a reduction in the bogus payments our workers entitled themselves to. Nigeria is not rich because of too much being spent on salaries, allowances and other bogus entitlements and payments you subscribed to yourselves. It is very wrong for any entity, company or country to use 75% of its total revenue to pay salaries, and off the remaining 25%, maybe only 15% is actually used on actual capital projects, due to kick backs, corruption etc...such a country will keep borrowing till eternity, unless productivity is boosted.

These guys doesn't understand that we know the difference between playing politics and responsive governance.....

You are collecting jumbo pay for playing politics with our lives and the future of the unborn generation, yet we dare not talk for the fear of your security details/agencies who will kill thousands in cold blood just for you to remain in that lofty office unprovoked.

Trust me...... We won't be simps forever.

Sorry o. Didn't realise you're one of those poverty stricken and despondent people I see on the streets.

The Lord is your strength. Speed up your grind, maybe you'd break free from the grip of penury and stop blaming omenka for it.

Hear what this animal is saying, the job of sleeping in the national assembly and talking rubbish is what we should focus on abi? Its not your fault. Nigeria should go back to 1989 constitution in which all law makers are to be on part time and receive less pay. Mind you,we have sensible, intelligent and vibrant youths all over the country who will do what you are doing in a better way even with 150,000 salary my humble self inclusive. Idiots

These are kind of people some Nigerians support and defend all in the name of party, tribe and religion. They care more for no one but themselves but his some average citizens still see them as people worthy of their support amaze me and they will not change unless we make them.
