Chelsea striker, Timo Werner, is set to equal the club’s legend, Didier Drogba’s record against Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Werner will become the first Blues player in eleven years to score in five consecutive games for Chelsea since Drogba in November 2009 should he find the back of the net against Newcastle at St. James’ Park today, Sports Mole reports.

Chelsea have won their last four fixtures against Krasnodar, Burnley, Rennes and Sheffield United, with Werner on the scoresheet each time.
