*EBONYI ELDERS COUNCIL DRUMS SUPPORT FOR GOV. UMAHI.*



*The Ebonyi State Elders Council has called on all Ebonyians at home and abroad to rally round the Executive Governor of the State, Engr. Dave Umahi who recently joined the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).*


*In a press release made available to newsmen online, The Acting Chairman Ebonyi Elders Council, Engr. Benjamin Okah described Engr. Dave Umahi as a God sent leader who has changed the fortunes of Ebonyi State, elevating the state into high profiled investment destination, and tourist attraction Centre.*


He stated that the decision of the governor to move to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) is for the good and greatness of Ebonyi State and indeed Igbo Land

He described the governor as visionary leader who understands that for the State to benefit maximally from the Federal Government, the state must be aligned with the All Progressive Congress (APC)


He further called on all Ebonyi Citizens, politically active persons, Ebonyi Elders irrespective of political affiliation to rally round the governor as the dividends of aligning with the center will begin to manifest in Ebonyi State very soon


He stated that Ebonyi Elders Council shall continue to support the Governor in his efforts to bring Federal Presence into Ebonyi State for the all round superlative development and advancement of the State.
