Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has placed a two-week, 24-hour curfew in the Obio Akpor local government area of Rivers state. Following reported cases of incessant cult activities by some youths, the Rivers state governor enforced the curfew and it is expected that it will be effective from Monday 23 November.
