VIDEO: UK Parliament Makes Shocking Revelations About Nigeria, Promise To Sanction Officials

The United Kingdom parliament is currently debating sanctions to hand out on Nigerian Government officials involved in the killing of peaceful protesters in Lekki on October 20 and other parts of the country. Members of parliament are looking to impose direct sanctions on government officials, who played a role in violating human rights during the protest instead of a general economic sanction that may affect ordinary citizens. Also, one of the Parliament members revealed how General Yakubu Gowon, during his time, literally carted away half of Central Bank of Nigeria to United Kingdom. He further stated that UK Parliament needs to use their power to stop those who are taking the wealth of Nigeria and hiding it in the UK.

God bless this guy, he spoke the truth to the powers in the UK. The UK and other foreign powers are great beneficiaries in the I'll gotten wealth amased by our leaders resulting into the mess we're currently facing.

Systemic and institutionalised rottenness in citizenship that is promoting bad leadership. We can't make any progress if the citizens whose futures have been mortgaged are still praising these crop of bad leadership.

Bad leaderships from religious, traditional, fiscal and academic are responsible for the tyrant and thieves we have as politicians. Politicians do not emerges overnight, they're recruited and harvested from the various sectors of the country.

Corruption among politicians is a reflection of the level of decadence, rottenness and lawlessness in that particular society/nation. The society/nation encourages the decadence, the people perpetrate it. It takes a strong, effective and independent institutions to check and curb the excesses/menace both by the citizens and leaders.

Nigerians have a mentality that builds and promotes strong men who inturn are bastardising institutions that are meant to check there Ineptitude.

No sane Nigerias should be proud of any leader who steal to invest in another country, a leader who don't take medical care here, whose children are not schooling here but the children only come back to occupy juicy posts/offices.

We shouldn't confuse ourselves when we desire betterment in governance for good standard of living but openly support the open weaponisation of poverty by our leaders.

It's high time we start calling out these foreign powers/countries for openly accepting the loots amassed by our leaders. These crooks steal our common wealth and stash it in foreign land.

Thiefery among leaders shows that these guys don't care for us but are only interest in building a guaranteed future for their families.

How can we explain the absurdity that none of our refineries is working but we keep paying huge amount of salaries to the corrupt refinery staff.

We Nigerians should wake up and start calling out this foreign powers

I am seeing a second wave of protests but this time, not even the agent of government will be spared but I pray that a lot of our leaders make speedy restitution with this generation and find a way to ameliorate the suffering of the masses before its too late.
The will of the people can't be subverted for too long.
