No time Nigeria is not divided, you have separate meetings with South-South, South East, West, North, Central North Etc.

You also have meeting with Ohaneze, Arewa group, Afeni group others separate.

To be sincere, those South South governors are worse than Buhari. Nothing to show for all the allocations and 13% derivations they have been collecting for years. I wonder who is more useless between them and the president. They keep on producing bad leaders who are ready to milk the states dry at the expense of the masses. Foolish set of people.

It’s not in your competence to assess the performance of the SS governors if Nigeria is governed like other multi ethnic and multi cultural countries with different needs.

If you use one billion Naira to build a road in say, Kano state, you may need five billion Naira to build similar road in Bayelsa state of the SS.

Do you even understand how Nigeria’s skewed political structure and democracy function at the federal government level?


Where decisions are taken at the FEC, NCS, NASS, the Fulani-controlled northern region of Nigeria is over-represented - no thanks to the skewed political structure of Nigeria where northern military dictators proliferated 20 states in the north but allowed only 17 states in the two southern regions that formed Nigeria with the northern region at independence in 1960.

They wrongly used land mass as criterion to proliferate too many states in the north.

It does not matter that a president is from the south, the Fulani-led north has majority in the federal government levels to decide what can be in Nigeria.

south-south have woken up from their slumber. The best demand so far. All oil industries HQ need to relocate to that region. Their ports need to be revived, due allocation need to be paid to them, privatisation of refineries will fetch more jobs to their teaming unemployed youth. We need to live up to reality not amassing revenue at the detriment of others weakness. The biggest task ahead of the SS is the need of them to upgrade their security tremendously before achieving those demands.
The best demand so far from all noise making regions in the country.

I keep asking same questions, good luck couldn't even complete east west road or start the Lagos calabar rail or reactivate the ports in the south, all our politicians are just same bunch.

If the south south governors couldn't come together and even try to form an oil company that would replace shell and Chevron, and directly own oil wells through the company and use proceeds from benefit of their region, if they couldn't do this, even if they're give 70% instead of 13% there still wouldn't be any tangible growth, today crude oil is selling for less than $40/barrel, the world is going electric but gold on the other hand is at record all time highs in 10years...after the north don use una catch cruise don't be surprised if they too start supporting restructuring.

GEJ's mother in law died in an accident on East West Road, yet the failure couldn't complete it. Amaechi fought GEJ for failing to complete the road and shortsighted SS people like Wike and Dickson were supporting GEJ.
