Trouble looms again in Ondo State as supposed repentant members of Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND), in Furupagha, an Ijaw clan in Ondo State, yesterday sent warning signals to the Federal Government to recognise former leader of the group in the on-going dialogue with MEND.The ex-militant fighters in a statement made available to the LEADERSHIP in Akure, the Ondo State capital, through it would spokesman, Ebakormor Ayebi, said if the leader of the ex-militants in the state known as “creek lion” was not carried along in the proposed dialogue with  other leaders of MEND group not allow election to take place in the state next month.

Ayebi stated that the group, under the leadership of “creek lion” is prepared to call on all ex-millitant fighters in the creeks of Gbelebu, Taribor, Ebijaw, Zion, Makporo, Kolonbou, Ubagbororo, Siluko, Kekere, Ofinege, Okwa, Madagbayo and Ezide;  to take up arms and stop the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from conducting elections in Ondo State.
