^^^ You don't mention engine size, or you're not bothered? Because the petrol engines in a Volkswagen Golf III range from 1,4L 8V - 2,9 VR6 12V.

Oga Siena, It seems all 4-Cylinder Golfs are made 8 Valves. What is the function of valves?. We see many Toyotas or Hondas with 16 Valves. Do they have better performance over VW?. I had a '86 VW Golf Syncro, I dared challenge any car in its cartegory for pick up and speed. Pls could you enlighten me on the valve thing.
