Just look at that road from penox to abakpa junction. Other governor are getting refund for maintaining federal roads but not Enugu state governor.

The roads in abakpa are all deathtrap. Same with most places in Enugu.

GSM of Oyo state recently paid gratuities of all the state workers who were owed since 2014 by the previous administration, Ugwuanyi could replicate such feat in Enugu as most of our retired teachers now look like they never worked for the government and state, such a pity that Enugu State under Ugwuanyi would joke with state worker's gratuities and pensions.

Waste of resources

Most of you against the building are talking absolute balderdash. Nonsense! There was no chapel in the government house and the governor saw need to build one for him and other Christians living and working in the government house. How is that a problem? In fact, it was a need that he needed to address.

You can condemn him for not doing other things in the streets and regions of his state, but not for building whatever he deemed as a need in the government house. Tell me one state in the core north where there is no mosque? A mosque and chapel are also needed in the government house; it's not a bad idea. As you are free as a citizen to worship your Allah or Ogun or Jesus in your street, the governor and his aides and their families are also free to find a place of worship in the government house.

Most Nigerians are angry at their leaders, but then that shouldn't make you suspend your reasoning abilities.

Here in Rivers state, people are complaining that the governor is building flyover everywhere. And I'm shocked to my bones. Governor dey build flyover to ease traffic, yet pipo dey complain say e too much.

You don't get my point. I'm not against him building church. What we are demanding is good governance.
Infrastructures are dying, roads are bad and no Jobs.

Progressive governments don't go about building churches or mosques when there are other pressing infrastructure problems in the State!! Schools are in terrible shape, hospitals are death zones and this id*iot thinks building a chapel in the Statehouse is a great idea?

Building a Science workshop would have been better! Many countries are busy advancing in Science and Technology while st*upid and clueless Nigerian policians are busy erecting religious buildings!! This is why this country is 300 years behind in development!
