Perhaps they still think it is joke.

How on earth can you state that 36 people were shot dead by soldiers without being at the scene and in the face of very credible question still hanging in the air "if soldiers killed even 1 person with their bullets, let alone 36 or 78 according to alleged lie by Switch, did soldiers kill all their friends, families, colleagues, neighbours, pastors/imams,boyfriends,girlfriends etc too? shocked

All the revenue CNN generated on those days from the online traffic and on TV viewership while beaming that fake news must be demanded as damages and used to take care of victims of police brutality, victims of the carnage and those their fake news further destroyed. The request for the damages must co-copy HE Donald Trump, the Republic Party and CBS.

Amnesty international must receive their own letter too while Lagos State Government must investigate the audio of IPOB leader instructing and commanding his IPOB members to burn down Lagos and establish the nexus between the audio and the coordinated arson in Lagos.
If found culpable, he should be reported to ICC and Interpol and other international bodies and prosecuted in absentia if he does not turn himself in.

If HE Sanwo Olu does not investigate this IPOB leader audio telling people to burn down Lagos, Lagosians, indigenes and Association of Lagos indigenes like the Lagos State Council of Obas and others should sue the government for not doing its job and compel the government to investigate the whole audio and movement of youths from the South East to join the protest in Lagos when same protest was going on in the South East!

This injustice against Lagos and Lagosians will not be permitted.

It is completely despicable that someone will tell people to go burn down Lagos and still not be charged by now. It is enabling him to commit more crime or someone else to wake up someday and instruct people to go burn down Abuja or Onitsha or Kaduna or PH or Benin and those places get burnt and we carry on as if we can't enforce our own laws.
#Justice for Lagos and victims of the carnage in Lagos

I think they were reckless and their shoddy coverage will eventually make heads roll in CNN.
Heads will roll just like the last time they paid some people to act like MEND until they got busted.

They were absolutely reckless especially after HE Trump called them fake news media for 4 years.

This damning verdict by this independent body of journalists is just the beginning. They were not even at the scene yet ignored the report of those credible media houses present at the scene.

Yet they are grandstanding.

CNN used some of the fake creatives that IPOB leader and his followers used to distract while they allegedly carry out the instruction of their leader to cowardly burn down Lagos.
Let FG go and sue CNN let see what happens. You think it is this rubbish Nigeria.
If CNN is to go down with law suit it would have been under president Trump not zoo Nigeria.
A CNN journalist went to the Chinese capital to investigate a report the Chinese government was accusing CNN of bad reporting concerning the maltreatment of minority of Muslims in China, the Chinese government just made mere intimidation but could not arrest the journalist because the Chinese government know the consequences.
If Chinese government no fit do CNN anything na Nigeria way no country dey respect na go fit sue CNN.

I have said it times without numbers that we have lots of educated illiterates in nigeria especially amongst the nairaland youth...What are we really reacting to? The only clarification made is to emphases the fact that they are not relying on amnesty report for their position ....They made it categorically clear that they st and by their report ...so what is the bone of contention here ? For those trying to fuel ethnic wars , they might nt live to witness it ....Peace is what we need but if we are tired of living together , we can peacefully decide to go our separate ways without shading the blood of any Nigeria . If a Nigerian from east can still be reminded that he is an igbo man in Lagos and same goes of Yoruba man living in the east ...isn't this clear we are not one? If the nation tagged nnanmdi Kanu as a terrorist , why should a sane nigeria bother about what happens to a terrorist ?

Story... Why react to only the first part?
The second part of the tweat is clear that they lied that the so called 38 was from the Lekki incident which they have now conveniently edited to mean the total incidents across the nation for the endsars saga.

But countless lies by the army and govt about the incident makes sense right? How many times have d army and d govt changed its narrative on what happened in Lekki?

Don't mind them by their comments you shall know them.
Nigeria is going it the wrong way and I am afraid people are not thinking.

It has happened so the only thing is assurance that it will not happen again. Tell just one lie and start rebuilding the confidence of the people in the government

" we sent them but not to kill. Some people were killed we are trying to find out exact number. We regret this and have set up a serious committee to look into it. Main while everyone involved has been arrested and bla bla bla*

Then start serious reconciliation with the youth and Nigeria in general.

But thie ongoing style is definitely going to embarrasse us more and absolute lack of confidence in the Government.

We have heard of friendly fire that claimed lives heaven did not fall.

You are equally guilty of spreading lies, just as you are accusing CNN of doing.
I dont think there was an audio from IPOB, telling their members to infiltrate the protest in Lagos. In a period of uncertainty like this, 5th columnists will usually try to infiltrate the rank and file of people protesting for enforcement of their fundamental human rights by trying to create division among them; in this case playing the tribal cards of East against the West which people will easily fall for given the primordial suspicion that exists between them.
As a matter of fact, the Army spokesperson at the Lagos State judicial panel of enquiry reported that it was the Igbo businesses that suffered the most loss during the recent Lagos riots.
The above shows that everyone suffered losses when hoodlums who were out to steal and destroy property unfortunately hijacked the formerly peaceful protest.
I advise that we all should be very discerning about unsubstantiated news reports we receive and also remain focused on our desired objectives of proper police reform and good governance.

I'm surprised u ended up firing a salvo in the wrong direction. Could it be that u never understood what was written by CNN?

U went completely astray by dragging IPOB into the issue, evidentially relying on recorded audio messages to assuage your position even though arrests made so far had the Yorubas in numbers, being responsible for wanton destruction of properties in Lagos.

Again, u decided to show your knack for tribalism by stating that those who destroyed Lagos were responsible for same destruction in Benin and Rivers without solid prove to back it up.

Nigerians like you are the reason why the govt can do anything and get away with it because the oppressors do have minions like u to defend their savagery.

Na old time God dey tey before catching up on bad people, God of these days, na speed of light in response .

Following the crowds sometimes could be disastrous, that's exactly what happened with the Lekki event.. Though the too early released of Photoshop photos did some damages.

There was shooting at Lekki on that day, after the arrival of the army but they did not aim at the protesters.. At least each officers must have nothing less than 5-6 bullets.. How many army will occupy one truck? Let's say 10, X 5 trucks making 50 officers on ground.

One bullet could kill at least 2 people ... If the army indeed shot at the protesters, the casualities should have been more than that both dead and injured.

But if you are emotional driven, can't think rationally, , assimilate information , having fixated beliefs about something and can't make use of your sense of judgement without listening to Dem say Dem say, then you go fall for the acclaimed Lekki massacre

Is the lawd not wonderful, are there no single NL's residing in Lekki , around Lekki Toll gate that participated in the partying protest ( After curfew was earlier declared by 4pm) or have first hand information with evidence about what transpired that day... grin

In summary, no direct shooting at the protesters
There was nothing like Massacre at Lekki

So, we have been praying, may God punish and expose all the enemies of Nigeria .... Amen!!!

Kudos to you for being the voice or reason and truth. I know you have been cursed, insulted and labelled a zombie for standing by the truth but keep holding strong bro. I had to spend hours explaining to a friend that if bullets were shot directly at protesters, no one will have time to take camera shots and it will be a crazy bloodbath. His military experience gave him reason. But unfortunately our country people rarely think.

Must we put emotion in everything? I'm not holding brief for this inept government but must we engage in complete falsehood just because we don't like a government. Libyans today are enjoying the fruits of their foolishness...but we are wiser. We will never allow your ilk to drive this country towards that path.

E ba radarada yin da soun.

I stated here before that heads will roll at CNN.

That was a horrible report.
Nigeria will sue them if they don't apologise and do more than this infantile recant.

Attach these pictures to Garba's suit at Abuja's court, who knows you and Garba are on your way to winning $1billion.

Nothing orderly and beautiful ever existed out of random chance. Even a work of art needs an intelligent Craftsman to design and u think something as complex as biological systems don't need an intelligent creator just cos u can't see him? I believe u know the clothes u are wearing now was designed by someone. Would you say that designer doesn't exist simply because you don't know him or see him. Man was made in God's image and u are surrounded by 7billion specimens of his craftsmanship. Need more evidence?

The same way I do not need an evidence to proove that people died. There are men who sleep with their teenage daughters and erase all evidence. Difficult to proove in court but It happens

Do you know that hoodlums also killed many soldiers and police officers during the protest?

You see, CNN wants to set the country on 'fire' by their unverified news so as to enjoy more 'viewership'
giftedben:
They got the figures all wrong.
More than 36 protesters were murdered by the Military.

Gbam you're the only one that understand that tweet.

I have been saying it here, a lot of people have comprehension problem.
