He deliberately failed to act against OGD's legislative gangsterism in Ogun that has now set a woeful precedence.

He became the campaign manager for the re-election effort of vote Rigger Uduaghan when every Nigerian knows that electoral malpractice is killing our Nation and robbing our children of the bright future that should be automatically available to them by virtue of Nigeria's natural endowment .

He rehabilitates disgraced Alamayeisegbha to prominence and relevance when , if he is the "fresh air" some proclaim , he will distance himself from looters who destroy the future of our children.

Orders that murder charges be dropped against Teslim Folarin so that the senator could be flown to Abuja , at the expense of Mr. president , to deliver Oyo delegates for Jonathan in the Primaries.

Now , in the desperation to win Lagos votes, he has placed disgraced crook Bode George in an influential position to the chagrin of many PDP member (see below) . There is absolutely no limit to Jonathan's cynical opportunism and lack of principles . The man will destroy Nigeria . That is for sure . Jonathan simply does not believe that wrongdoing should be punished. It is almost as if Mr. President has no moral compass to guide his thinking and actions. Crooks , no matter what they have done , will get a free ride everywhere under a GEJ Government. It is happening now already but with 4 years in the bag for GEJ grossly brazen and unchecked criminality will be the order of the day.

Jonathan’s meeting with PDP members in Lagos deadlocked

LAGOS – PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan’s siege on Lagos for the state’s more than six million votes may have ended in a fiasco as his efforts might have left the party more divided than ever.

The closed door meeting held between President Jonathan and leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Lagos State ended on Sunday night with majority of party stakeholders boycotting the meeting over the prime role given erstwhile Deputy National Chairman of the party, Chief Bode George at the meeting.

The meeting called on the insistence of the President, was aimed at strategising on how to take over Lagos from the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, which currently controls the state.

George in a riposte dismissed those who allegedly abstained from the meeting with the President on account of his presence as agents of the ACN, affirming that they were of inconsequential value to the party. George, who affirmed that the President’s meeting was productive for the party’s chances in Lagos, further pledged that Lagos would fall to the party in the coming elections.

Bigwigs of the party present at the meeting included George; Chief of Staff to President Jonathan, Dr Mike Oghiadome; state chairman of Lagos PDP, Mr Setonji Koshoede; state secretary of the party, Mr Tunji Shelle; Chief Bode Ola; Mr Tola Animashaun; Senatorial candidates; House of Representatives candidate and House of Assembly candidates contesting on the platform of the party.

The likes of former Minister of Works, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe and Nigeria’s High Commissioner to Ghana, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro; Dr Wahab Dosumu, former Minister of State for Defence, Mr Demola Seriki; Dr Oluyomi Finnih, the state publicity secretary; Dr Wale Ahmed; Mr Babatunde Gbadamosi and other aspirants were, however, absent at the meeting.

George reacts

But reacting to the assertions that he was a divisive factor, George told Vanguard last night:

“The allegation that I am the one causing disaffection in the party is not true. There is nothing like that. Those people who are shouting oars are agents of the Action Congress, who are masquerading as genuine members of the PDP. Many of them who you said are aggrieved are not committed members.

“President Goodluck Jonathan was around yesterday (Sunday) to meet with the party’s candidates and encouraged them to do their best for the party to emerge victorious.

“However, some of these people you mentioned did not come around to see how the party will continue to grow in the state, instead they are just making noise and predicting negatively that PDP may not win. I am telling you they will be alive when the party will coast to victory in Lagos.

“Now, some of our members were attacked in the Island, the attackers almost killed the aspirant, none of them see something bad in this, they are not complaining about all these ugly development.”

I am just shocked by some of Jonathan's brazen opportunism !!!! We all know he is a desperate political jobber promoted far above his station but can't he even pretend sometimes , for the sake of those who wear out their mouth praising him as "fresh air" , that he wan't to do thing differently to the "business as usual" methods that has gotten this nation where it is today? Even OBJ we all view as an unfeeling dictator has distanced himself from Bode George. Yet Jonathan's shameless desperation and opportunism does not allow him to recognise limits of decency.

There is no way you can reap tomatoes when you've only planted onions. How can a sheep deliver a lion? GEJ is certainly more of the same. In fact his case is worse 'cos he's clueless and has no inkling about how to manage the office he occupies.

Indeed. The fans of GEJ are just as repellent as the man they support as far as innate lack of integrity and morals is concerned . Hahahaha i laff in Goodluck Jonathan!!!! Am not his fan and will not vote him if am around but one thing is sure. He will rig the election and nothing will happen. Is it not Nigeria again? North almajiris will kill some Southerners and after like 3 days everybody will get on with his/her business and the battle is left for Buhari and his solicitors who will even compromise him. Just wanted to ask if u guys are familiar with the term 'political expediency'? Of course u lot are so smart u ought to be. Relating that to politics (Nigerian style) it means an aspiring president from a minority ethnic group with his strongest support coming from a minority political zone needs all the help he can get and since the most influential folks from all other well populated regions all seem to be crooks (by your testimonies) it becomes Expedient to have their support - at least for now. Afterall all those Crooks were already thriving and well followed before Gej showed up or werent they?
