In the last few days, there has been a staccato of discordant voices about the CNN report on the Nigerian #EndSARS protests. As a newspaper with an avowed mission statement to raise our pen in the defence of the interests of the country, we have watched with considerable alarm, certain positions taken by many of the actors in this saga.https://leadership.ng/cnn-dont-mess-with-nigeria/

Nigeria is playing the script of the scorned bitter wife who was caught cheating. All they do is make references of false wrongs to justify why they should be seen as the witch-hunted underdog. As usual, many will fall for their tricks. But before you allow your fickle emotions be swayed by this unintelligent propaganda, ask yourself the basics. Is there a respect of human rights in Nigeria? Is Nigeria safe for her citizens. Was wrong force applied to unarmed protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate? After answering these questions, then ask yourself what CNN's interest is in this matter. We are a sovereign nation for crying out loud. So why interfere in how we run our country? "The landlord who always runs to intervene and side with the wife when his couple tenants are fighting has not said what his true interest is". CNN should just let us live our zombie lives peacefully since we hate that they want to emancipate us. The same propaganda that was used to get us into this mess in 2015 is now being used to make us hate and question the interest of people concerned over the dysfunction of our dear nation. For those of us who don't support this CNN's nonsense journalism, Don't mind the haters. Our darling daddy is the bestest. Let's go queue up with our APC membership card at NNPC Mega station to buy petrol at 50Naira a litre. Afterall isn't 1Dollar equivalent to 1Naira anymore? |

But when CNN came in, it recruited Nima Elbagir, a senior correspondent to do the job. Elbagir now relied on biased third parties and reported the story as if it was originalNow that FG and sane Nigerians are aware, we are monitoring CNN keenly |

But what we think should be the ultimate disgrace for CNN, is that a major television station, the TVC was attacked and burnt down and their “seminal” report pretended that didn’t happen . All over the world, media houses always err on the side of fellow media houses in times of such adversities. TVC is a television house just like CNN but that was not at issue for them because they were too consumed with the premeditated desire to bring down Nigeria in the eye of the international community.I stopped reading at this point.. Bringing TVC known for petty Journalism into discourse is so disgraceful. If VOA decides to give their own account same way CNN is critically doing theirs the fifth columnist will rise to write same trash. The Only thing TVC is good at is meandering from one village to another in the east in the name of documentary. You will never see them in thick forests of osogbo but will pass seven rivers just to report rubbish. TVC is not a standard television station but a propganda station who runs their fuel on ethnic sentiments. Let the leftist and fifth columnist carry out his own research since CNN did a wonderful job to be criticized I lf CNN wants to bring down Nigeria then it is a welcome development so that Lord lugard will finally rest in peace and be free from more torment in hell. |

Have they not destroyed America.? Stopped watching like 6yrs ago and never regretted it. They thrive in division and anarchy. It's a political party anyway. We all should know that and they feel and act like they are untouchable. Goodluck to their fans. They use mind control like our religious pious leaders, the greatest and deadliest weapon ever. |

Ok, so nothing happened. Sai baba is da best. Keep o fooling yourself. You are comparing your pathetic life to one who has invested so much into Journalism over a century. The main person attention they wanted has already acknowledged them. Na you go taya |

It is only a matter of time. War dogs operate in already vulnerable country where a particular sect of the entity is already considering war. Now ask yourself this question, does Nigeria fall into this category? If yes then fasten your seat belt, you can't wish it away or insult the sect to change their ideology like you all do here everyday. The more you delay them, the more desperate they become, the more they lose sense in humanity, the more the scale of the unforseen go high. Tough times are ahead |

Isn't it strange that BH attacked farmers and almost immediately the UN reported 100+ people were killed even when 48 had been confirmed IF we eventually realise that 100+ people were actually killed then I'm 100% certain that these are premeditated happenings And they already knew before it happened --the case of printing the news of next week even before the date. Same thing with the lekki case, the massacre had already been pre-emptived They were expecting the government to react with security but the government didn't play to there tune Anybody with half a brain that witnessed the endSARS protest in some places will know that their intention was to provoke a military action |

This poster is so bias. CNN should just keep up the good work, Nigeria can't do anything to them. Nigeria doesn't even have enough cash to run its affairs but they wanna sanction cnn. The country has been looted dry by their useless leaders mainly from the North, leaving a once great nation in an abysmal state. Shame on Nigeria, shame on whoever posted this rubbish, shame on the North, 110 people just died but EndSARS is still their problem. Spits. |
