Police are very aware of every cash movement. It is standard banking procedure. In fact, you even need police to be physically present in a branch before you can open your vault for the day’s work. After the protest some banks didn’t open...

Some latest vans don't really need escorts as they use bullet proof armor, real time tracking and destination only opening locks.

There is always collusion and moles in the bank and outside the bank.

If something happens to the bullion insurance will not bear such risk irrespective that they have CIT - cash in transit policy . It will still be same policy to give Final police report to enable to a claim with the insurance.

Idiot you are fool to believe that. First they accused Tinubu as the one sponsoring the Youths for the protest that failed then you are foolishness accusing him for what happened at Lekki. MUGU is Tinubu the commander in chief of army forces?? Is Tinubu the president?? Is he the Army chief of staff?? Tinubu can not control the police talkless of ordering the Military, are you that sttuppid not to know that the power is centralized and even state governor who are the chief security officers of their state does not have the power to control the police. For each movement, the police contingent are paid. Each branch forms out cash movement allowances for the police guys.
It's the money that the police is after, not glory.

Banks settle DPOs well in this regard. There are standard allowances for police protection.
