Restructuring is useless to the north, they can never open their eyes and watch other parts of the country have full autonomy, especially the igbos, while they wallow in poverty, they believe if the regions have that kind of power they can easily break away from Nigeria whenever they wish.

confederations are always shaky, just like Ethiopia today ,every region wants to break away from the centre the greatest fear of the north is to loose southern Nigeria they can sacrifice millions to keep the country together

All I know is that if the southerners can drop their baseless and unwarranted Egoistic nature and this nonsense battle for supremacy, there's nothing the North can ever do.... Yorubas and Igbos.. When are you going to be ready?

I reckon it’s not just about their fear of wallowing in poverty, but mainly that they know (even if they’d sooner take a bullet to the brain than admit it)....they know some ethnicities in the south will expose them for what they really are! Even if restructuring is done, the type they will agree to, it’d probably be some watered-down rubbish that still sees the centre controlling a lot of things!
