Brett Knutson’s entrepreneurial journey has led him into working relationships with many of the world’s most notable brands and investors, as well as many celebrities, professional athletes, and influencers. Brett regularly speaks alongside business icons like Steve Wozniak, Gary Vaynerchuk, and others, as well as at high schools and universities all around the world. In 2021, he plans to take his passion for teaching to a new level, with the launch of his first book. “I’m very excited about the impact it will have on entrepreneurs specifically,” Brett notes. “The education system is broken and outdated, and my life’s mission is to help fix it in a meaningful way. I’m just getting started.”

As a serial entrepreneur and international speaker, Brett Knutson has launched multiple seven and eight figure companies across several industries, including Hive, a social network that connects people with others nearby that share their same interests. After over five years of working at Hive, and founding other successful businesses such as Amare, Brett became a founding partner of Monopolize. He explains, “Hive was grown exclusively through influencer marketing, so it was a natural transition to help other brands to do the same thing I did for Hive. By working with hundreds of influencers, I also saw the benefits of having a personal brand and began to build one myself. It wasn’t long before we began helping others build their personal brands, too.”

Monopolize is a marketing agency that offers brand promotion, paid media, creative strategy, e-commerce, and production. Brett and his team have worked with several Fortune 500 companies, becoming one of the leading marketing agencies across the country. However, he credits his current successes to the relationships he made in each of his past ventures. “The biggest challenge for someone starting their first business is usually a lack of the right relationships,” Brett explains. “This is why relationship building is so important.”

He continues, “In my life, I’ve been fortunate enough to see a lot of my dreams come true, but nothing material I’ve purchased and no experience I’ve had has given me the lasting, high quality of life that I get from having amazing people around me.”
