The truth is, there are hardly new actors through auditions. Let me say just 1% from auditions. Most of the new guys are usually from MTV Shuga, Big brother Naija , Tinsel, or any other Africa magic production. They will tell you to post your videos on Instagram, at the end, they will ignore you to give roles to clout chasers and the regular faces. It's not surprising we keep seeing the same faces in about 15 movies.

Casting him because he trended and not because he's talented. That video wasn't an acting performance to serve as an audition. Nollywood producers are just casting anybody with some following...that is why we so the likes of Simi, Tobi Bakre, Toke Makinwa, Nengi, Chigurl, Falz, etc in movies. It's too bad cos the real actors are hungry. They can't even host an audition to get new talents
