"On a daily basis, hundreds or even thousands of cases are instituted before the courts nationwide. The new cases find their way into the docket of one judge or the other, joins a host of other cases and begins a journey with no end in sight. In Nigeria, the justice system is nothing to write home about. With no attempt to exaggerate, a case could last a lifetime in court."

Could this also possible explain increase in people on awaiting trail accross or Prison

More court houses need to be built, the capacity of our prisons need to be expanded and well furnished, more judges need to be employed.

These will decongest our prisons relief the judiciary of the burden of pilling litigation and absolutely make our prisons a correctional centres.
