A guy makes money. He gets wealthy. He then ascribes to move on. He wants to leave the past behind. He gathers new friends and joins new clubs. He is on a mission to redefine himself. A good thing.

Soon he is with his new circle. Boat cruises. Wrestling matches in Dubai. Weekend hangouts in Monaco. Dude is living large.

He gets invited to their parties. He is at ease with them. All goes good.

Then it his is turn to host them. He has a party. Most give excuses. They do not show up. He can’t understand. His wife and he had put up money to host. They have a nice party.

At a point, he wants to contest for a position in the new club. He campaigned. He lobbied. At the end he got three votes. 45 people voted. He felt disappointed. Why?

A day comes he is hanging out with one of his new buddies. They drink. His buddy has a loose tongue. Tells him that the club members do not like social climbers. That they still judge him on his past and deep down will never accept him as one of them. He is new money without substance.

Makes You wonder How Olawale of Project Fame hasn't forgotten his roots
