There are 3 major religions in nigeria recognized by law, christian, muslim and traditional religion.

I have read severally in the news and have watched videos where people who practiced traditional religion are attacked and beaten in Nigeria. Example of such was a man who is successful in his business, he has many customers more than his neighbours who are in the same line of business, one day people saw him with a charm, they attacked him, claiming he uses the charm to attract customers from his competitors, he was later handed over to the police. From his statement in the police, he referred to himself as a traditional worshipper and claimed the charm is part of his traditional practices, yet police arrested him.

So my question is, is he guilty for practicing his faith?

Remember, a Christian prays with Bible to attract customers and God's blessing,

A muslim also prays with Quran to attract customers and the blessings of Allah,

A traditionalist in the story above prays with charm.

What is the difference??

Because their crines are many!

You hardly see a criminal who does not have the backing of a native doctor.

Agberos are being emboldened by the same people with charms.

They sponsor husband snachers with charms to do so.

They can kill someone for you with a fee only if you can accept the person blood to be on your.

Any crime you want them to help you commit they're ready if you can pay for their services.

we have more christians and muslims compared to traditional worshippers that's why they are bold enough to attack them,i believe the police arrested him for his own safety.

Their white masters brainwashed them into thinking their tradition is evil.
Nigerian pastors do their part in deceiving them about unseen witches and forces from these same traditions, being the reason behind their downfall and obstacles in life.
While Nollywood has its own role also.

You pray with your koran and beads, another prays with his bible and cross. There's no problem.
But the moment one prays with his calabash and cowries, he's considered an evil doer.

Pastors, reverend fathers, Imams all partake from proceeds of crime.
Reverend fathers and pastors now encourage people to make money from all means whether criminal or otherwise, provided they pay tithes. The mess in christianity these days is just too much !

In fact, more honorable people can be found among the traditionalists these days. They are also more spiritual and I think that is why your pastors are scared of them hence try to make you believe that all traditional worshippers are evil.

That's the incredible effect the power that wind of change could have on the human society at large! Centuries ago noone would have noticed the item in the man's hand because everyone has his or her own amulet.
But after the white men came with their religion and falsify what our people believe most people now see those charms as evil.
Though there is a secret to that but true Christians don't attack anyone for whatever you believe even witches have the right to practice their witchcraft in the neighbourhood as long as they're practicing their faith within the confines of the law.
Everyone should be free to practice whatever they want as worship, the only thing Christians will never tolerate is interfaith! If you're not ready to live by the rules of our God we will never have anything like sacred service to do with you. Apart from that we can live together as neighbours, eat together, play together share recreation times with anybody, the only time we'll say bye bye is when sacredness comes in! smiley
