cool

They are actually rich

Keke and bike men make 6-10 k a day in Lagos after paying installment (hire purchase) , drinking shepe , fvcking olosho, they still have cooperative savings of 1.5 - 3k a day

A driver or a rider can't try such in other cities, except Abuja and PHCity

Because they know it's just a matter of time. Bikes and tricycles are back on the roads after being banned few months back.

Jokers.

Everyone is blaming Lagosians. What about the government and the system that is not working.
They should not compare abroad to Nigeria. Nigeria is everything opposite the other parts of the world.
Up till now, no government was able to tackle traffic gridlock menace in Lagos except for Gov. Ambode whose road constructions was not just solution oriented but also tackled traffic problems seriously. Iyana oworo layby, alapere, berger, etc. What of bridges at strategic places, reconstruction of round abouts at lekki axis, international airport road and fly over, to mention but few. There is no amount of law and impound that can deter offenders, but solution to the cause of the problem will go a very long way.
Sanwo Olu has been sleeping since he assumed office, his 2terms can't even match the record of Fashola or Ambode's 1 term with this kind of slow performance.

If the road was good there won't be traffic jam, if there is no traffic jam people won't follow one way, so it still goes down to the government any way you look at it

The flagrant disregard for rule of law is result of impunity on the part of the elite. If the law is seen to enforced irrespective of status then all will align accordingly.

The same pple that makes the Law. Will not stay be patient to say in the traffic with us... Once dem see traffic... Vooom one way sharp sharp or dem drive BRT lane.....

Sanity should start from the top... Any government official caught driving against traffic, should also faze the Law.. Simple

Compared to Edo state bus drivers I am 100% sure Lagos State drivers dey learn for driving in opposite direction.

Edo state bus drivers na masters for one way or driving in opposite direction.

LAWLESSNESS is our Birthright.
May be Government should start setting those cars ablaze right before their owners.
NIGERIANS need Military Rule.
It's ordained for such.
After all, many are still evolving into humans in Nigeria

Not just Lagosians... The average Nigerian can't properly drive, and is also deaf/blind/dumb to simple traffic rules or laws.

We need to introduce driving laws and rules as compulsory subjects/courses in primary, secondary, and even tertiary institutions.

Why won’t it continue, when this is an insincere effort from the state government?

Is the aim truly to stop one way driving? Or just to make more revenue from fines and punishment?

Have we determined that all One-way roads are properly marked? Has the government done enough to sensitize the public when existing roads are converted to one-way roads? Are signs in plain sight? Have we started punishing Lastma officials that deliberately funnel people into driving one way so their colleagues in front can seize them?
Has the lagos state Government reached out to Google to ensure Google maps properly captures new One way roads? Or roads where their designation has been recently changed?

Check well, you’ll find that most of these things haven’t been done. And hapless drivers keep falling into these ‘traps’ everyday.

Even on Epe Road that is brand new and empty people will still pass one way. Even when there's no traffic at all people still pass one way.

It is as if they don't have any other way to drive and endangering their lives and the lives of others needlessly is normal.
