Text: (2 Timothy 2:24-26) And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. Have you ever heard this saying "will the devil ever repent?’’ The devil will never repent because he won’t accept the truth about himself. James 2:19 shows that the devil believes and tremble, meaning he believes the truth but not the truth about himself. (Read Isaiah 14:12-15). He is still doing what he is doing because he refuses to accept what the Bible says about his end. Why people don’t get saved is because they refuse to accept what the Bible says about their end. What about Christians? Will they ever repent? (Repentance means change of mind over your sinful condition). A Christian will never repent except he accepts the truth about himself. The Bible is a mirror (James 1:23). If the mirror is truth, then you got a comparison. If you don’t line up with what’s in that mirror, then there is something wrong with you, not the mirror. The fact of the matter is that the mirror that you’re looking at is the image you’re to be conformed to. People don’t like the light the Bible gives. When you turn that light on you instead on Christ, you become the spotlight and the light blinds you. Now there is hard truth in the Bible. The truth about you. The problem is that we are rebellious in nature. That’s why the devil takes us captive at his will. Ephesians 4 and Galatians 5 are personality traits. They are all emotions. That’s why the Lord is working on the hearts of people. When God says you’re the problem, that’s when you get all emotional. If you accept the truth, you’ll get more than you bargained for. If you confess your sins, it will protect you from the devil. People will claim they believe the Bible but not what it says about them. This prevents them from seeing the truth about themselves. Prov 5:21-23 shows that the problem is that man won’t receive instruction to get himself out from trouble. Moses was considered the meekest man because he is willing to be taught and accepts the hard truth about who he is. Now I followed the end sars protest. I saw bunch of Christians rebelling against the government. Romans 13 commands that Christians should submit to the powers that be. And your preachers speaking against the government. You know one of the signs of false preachers is that they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities (Jude 8, 2 Peter 2:10). All I saw that was protesting is simply bunch of sinners (fraudsters/thieves, fornicators, prostitutes, liars, idolaters, murderers, people filled with bitterness, envy, strife, etc). They didn’t know that we are sojourners here in this world (Lev 26). That this world was given to the devil (Luke 4), that the devil is the god of this world and was ordained by God (2 Cor 4:4). That the powers that be were all ordained by God (Romans 13). Sinners judging sinners. People will always try to use what someone else is doing to justify what they are doing. Eg: I drink but I don’t smoke like others. I smoke weed but I don’t smoke cigarette. I smoke cigarettes but I don’t smoke crack like others. People getting wise concerning evil. In Philippians 3, the apostle Paul said "I am the problem." That’s why he is a successful Christian. Can you do the same? Use your eyes to look at yourself, not other people. When you use your eyes to look at other people, you can’t see yourself. If husband and wife could go to that mirror (Bible) and look at themselves, they will find out that he or she is actually the problem. Wife you’re not submissive is not because of your husband, it’s because you hate the Bible and what it says about you. Husband you don’t love your wife and you’re bitter towards her is because you don’t like the Bible and what it says about you. If someone slaps you or hit your car on the road, what will you do? Fight the person? What if the Lord allowed it to happen to show you that you got a problem? Real power is knowing that you can, but you don’t always have to. The Lord is coming and His message hasn’t changed. Stop opposing yourself. If you’re still pointing at people, then you’re no different from the devil. Accept the truth of who you are (a sinner), then let the Lord work out the rest. |

Only imperfect creatures can repent perfect ones already have clear thinking abilities with nothing to hinder their thoughts nor circumstances that could shapen their reasoning. They have perfect minds, so once they choose a course nothing as in NOTHING can change it, that's why God pronounced death on Satan, Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve died a natural death because their continuous existence depends on their body so if the body deteriorates they grow old, sick and die. Satan's continuous existence depends on the number of his deluded subjects so as long as their are imperfect humans to rule Satan will continue to exist, that's why God promised a time of judgment when he (God) will put an end to all badness, it's then that God will destroy Satan for good. So it's imperfect but intelligent creatures (humans) that have the prospect of repentance perfect creatures (angels) can't repent because they have 100% sharp minds to remember what is right, they choose what they want unlike humans that circumstances determines what we will do no condition can change whatever perfect creatures determine to do! God bless you! ![]() |

iyambz:Isaiah 14 has nothing to do with the devil. Instead it is a dirge to either the King of Babylon or Tyre. I forget which is written there in Isaiah and which in Ezekiel |

The moon is the devil. The ruler of darkness. Where did you get the idea that the moon or darkness is evil ? The devil is the personification of darkness, symbolised by the moon or a goat. In most mythology he is represented by a man with a goat head always sitting. Light and darkness are complimentary, not opposing. We need both to survive. It is the principles of duality. God created everything in twos. |

Kobojunkie:That’s why you need to get a KJV Bible and not from the perverted Bible you’re reading from. And concerning the king of Tyre, God addresses Satan through the king of Tyre in Ezekiel 28, exactly as He addressed Satan through Simon Peter in Matt 16:23. So instead of you to get the message I passed, you’re here looking for an argument. Get a KJV 1611 Bible. That’s the only pure and perfect word of God. |

iyambz:I am afraid the reason why you were carried away there is exactly because you read from a BIble written in the 1600s by a King whose mission was to create a Book for his own version of the religion. In verse 4 of Isaiah 14, you are told that the following is a dirge, not to Lucifer whom many of you like to pretend is another name of Satan, but instead to the King of Babylon Isaiah 14 vs 4- 21 (ERV)A similar dirge can be found in the book of Ezekiel, chapter 28, where instead the dirge is sung to the King of Tyre. Ezekiel 28 vs 1- 19 (ERV)Mark the similarities in the tone of each dirge. Also, realize that it is of great importance to context passages in the complete context they were presented in, in order that you do not lose the message contained. |

Kobojunkie:Isa 14:12- How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! The word Lucifer is a Latin word meaning "a bearer of light"; it is a translation of a Hebrew word meaning "the shining one." There is no doubt that it is a reference to the Devil, since he appears as "an angel of light" (2 Cor 11:14 kjv). The new bibles try to convert him to Jesus Christ by translating the word as "morning star" (eg NIV) or "day star" (eg RSV). Christ is given the title of "the morning star" in regards the His millennial rule (Rev 2:27-28; 22:16 kjv), and He is called "the day star" in His role as the indwelling Saviour (in person of the Holy Spirit) inside the body of the believer (2 Pet 1:19). The change is proof positive that the modern translations have a spirit behind them- an unclean spirit. |

iyambz:The "word" lucifer was first used by the man who would later become King James book in his book "Demonologie" and was later applied to his translation of the term in the bible, hence the reason why you have that word "lucifer" in your KJV bible. Fortunately, if you paid close attention, you would have noted from the beginning of the chapter that the entire dirge was, in fact, sang to the King of Babylon and not to a phantom character called lucifer. |

iyambz:You created this issue... I am simply trying to get you see your error. Go do some research on the genesis of the claim that the King of Babylon is some character called Lucifer, and maybe then you can gain insight into this on your own. |

iyambz:That in fact applies to you since you have somehow locked yourself into believing that the power of God only extends up to the KJV bible and no other translation. You need to use your head. Those books were written by human hands, translated from one human language to another and read by human minds. If what is written in one translation does not coincide with what is written in another, then it means there is likely human error behind it and it is then up to you to do your research in figuring out where the problem comes from. The inane response is to limit yourself to one as if God Himself is suddenly limited. |

Kobojunkiee:Psalms 119:89 "For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven". Psalms 138:2 "I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name". It’s obvious you have a problem with the Bible. Listen brother, if it were you that posted something I found to be heretic on this forum, I will never comment nor even try to correct you. You know why? 2 Tim 3:13 "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived". You got a heart problem. I can’t help you. |
