Hello everyone,
I have been a silent reader.
I just got my ppr today.
My application was a very funny one, I submitted in January this year and I had no request letter neither did my eligibility review change until I got my passport request today. I was worried and had so much anxiety everytime that I had to stop coming on here because it felt overwhelming for me.
My timeline goes like this:
Submitted - January 27th
Confirmation- January 28th
Biometrics- January 28th
Upfront medicals- March 9th
Medicals updated to pass- March 15th
Bvl and passport request - April 27th
Ps : Today makes it exactly 3 months I submitted my application.
To everyone still hoping for a good news and waiting for ppr I pray you receive your miracle.
Shout out to Ircc cause they have thought me patience on this experience.

Congratulations dear
Did u use NSE route ?
I submitted on 25th January
2days before yours

Sure, it's fine. I opened mine via internet banking. I believe you would need a current account first though, as the dom account would be linked to it. It's a hassle visiting the bank to do this so try online - it's super easy; barely an inconvenience smiley
i av an account with them...will try the internet banking. Thanks a lot

Hi again everyone.
How do I change my application to include my dad? I haven’t submitted yet, but when I was applying I indicated that I would need a visitor visa for my mum who would be accompanying me. How do I add one for my dad too? Or will I need to start again?

Hello Childgodly,

Only one family member can accompany a minor to help settle in. It's either your mom or dad. In the case of a change, refill a new form.

Best of Luck

Thank you for sharing your timeline and congrats again! The fact that your eligibility never changed till you got your PPR confirms my question yesterday in regards to the fact that IRCC sometimes do not update these things! Please what program are you going for?

Good morning Gurus,

Thank you for all that you do here,God bless you all and it will end in praise.

I have a bit of an issue and I will like to clear my doubts

1. My school withdraw me from my program because I wasn’t physically available on campus on the first day ( although I was aware Of their policy and conditions for the course) I was waiting for RICC till the last minute.

Will this withdrawal have any negative consequences on my visa/ study permit?

2. I have also secured 2 other admissions because I don’t want to be disappointed.

Do I need to inform RICC about this new admission? Or just wait till visa is out before doing anything

Thank you for swift responses

Hello Olaidetola,

When did you apply for your permit? The admissions at your disposal, are they in the same or related study field?

It will be better not to conceal the current reality of things with your profile from IRCC in order not to misrepresent material facts. Write an LOE coupled with the new LOA.

Give justifiable reasons on why the situation that played with your DLI wasn't your fault as there was no valid travel document to come to Canada to meet up with the first day of orientation or classes, or as the case may be.

Beseech the officer with a request to continue processing your application under the same condition of the former. Include evidence that is pertinent to the DLI's resumption policy.

If the withdrawal will have a negative effect on your application is up to the discretion of the officer, but not necessarily if the new admission focuses on the same study (area). The worse is, if a decision has been reached already, you MAY be requested to resubmit a new application and pay the required processing fees. I doubt if it would come to this.

Best of Luck
