Governor Emmanuel Inaugurates New Tissue Factory by Akwaibomdaily: 10:38am On Dec 20, 2020
Governor Udom Emmanuel has commissioned a dried bamboo tissue production factory in Akwa Ibom State.

The factory is located within the Dakkada Cottage Industries, Itam -Itu LGA.

Inaugurating the facility, Governor Emmanuel said the facility is fully government owned, but will be administered by a private business model for maximum profitability.

The Ibom soft rolls will hit the market stand in February 2021, after obtaining requisite certifications. The pioneering technology applied in this production line is both human and environment friendly.
