The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested 43 people for prostitution and the illegal sale of alcoholic substances at the Kwanar Gafan vegetable market in Garun Malam Local Government Area of the state. Confirming the arrest, the Commander General of Hisbah, Dr. Harun Ibn-Syna, while parading the suspects on Monday, December 21, in Sharada quarters, was quoted as saying thus; “Out of the 43, 34 are females while the remaining nine are males, aged between 15 and 18.
