The appeal is made in the context of the rising number of new cases of COVID-19 in the most populous African country.
According to the Vietnam News Agency reporter in Africa, in a statement, Mr. Buhari emphasized that the new epidemic has been identified and that Nigeria cannot lose its achievements in the past nine months. The Nigerian president confirmed that he had carefully assessed the situation and said that urgent measures were needed to prevent the spread of the disease.
