Most of us have read news headline proclaiming Donald trump as the most admired man in America in 2020. Is he actually the most admired man in America or just the most admired by republicans? Is it a fake poll as asserted by some posters on the internet?
The poll is not a fake, it was conducted by Gallup one of the most reputable pollster in the world. The headline also represent the conclusion of the poll. However, if we look beyond the headline and dive into the numbers we will see that Trump is not the most admired person in America but the most admired by the republicans. Let's look at the numbers:
Donald Trump 18%
Obama 15 %
Joe Biden 6%
Dr. Anthony Fauci 3%

Other details in the polls show that 48% of republicans choose Trump while 32% and 13% choose Obama and Biden respectively

Looking at the above numbers and the understanding of American politics, it is obvious that Trump is admired based on what can be called " loaded Dice". If you put any of Obama, Biden or Dr. Fauci vs Trump. Trump score will most likely remained at the 18% while any of the other three will most likely score more than 20%.

It's no wonder why 57% of people in the same survey disapproved of the Job Trump is doing and while Biden transition got 65% approval.
It's is accurate to say that Trump is the most admired person by republicans. Any other conclusion is fallacy to boost Trump ego
