Why must extorting money be so rampant? Does anyone have morals?
I guess poverty supersedes morals

What are these people saying sef? So how are we sure someone or persons along the chain is not collecting "chum chin", cause in my area a centre is collecting N4,000 and elsewhere N5,000. In these places, the processes run smoothly, but go to NIMC office and you will discover the process is cumbersome with epileptic network. Naija things.

Everyone is trying to pay up and not considering the poor,
despite government insisting that NIN registration is free.

We are our own problems in Nigeria.

Personally, I will take a secret camera, get solid evidence and broadcast.
You cooperate with NIMC officials and criticise politicians.
Organise a protest in front of their office, just like endsars.

Uyo, ikot ekpene all in Akwa ibom State, the amount is between 1.5k to 3k depending on the center you visit.
I've made several complain via their website and nothing is done to save us from this extortion.
Go to federal secretariat Uyo, you must pay 3k before being attended to.
The heads with the active connivance with it staff is in the know, they just decided to issue this useless warning
Spit on you hypocrites.
