2plurse:Use the SIM on a torch light phone without internet connection, nobody can track u. Or better still report him to the law enforcement agency so that it will be on record in case of eventuality |

2plurse: I don't even no how to explain in a lay man's language for you to understand FRP Before any phone enters FRP the phone has been formatted already, I do remove FRP too The only reason he needed you sim was he wants to use your data if WiFi is not available to bypass FRP For the tracking stuff u mentioned above works only if the phone was not formatted and the phone is in full function So be at peace, happy new year!!! 1 Like |

Op, listen to me, I have experience in that field. 1. They can track your sim now, if they want. 2. It is you they will track, since your sim was used to receive network on that particular phone, because the imei of the phone will lead to that even if GPS or Location is off. 3. MTN (lets say ur sim is MTN) never knew the guy, its you they know now. 4. The owner can arrest you through security agencies since your sim was used on his stolen phone previously. 5. Your friend can set himself free, if He change the imei of the phone. THINK ABOUT IT: He used your sim when the owners IMEI is intact, he removed your sim and change IMEI, hence the old IMEI can never be traced, but your sim can be. While the new IMEI is fake, hence its now a different phone according to MTN and Owner. 6. You can only get out of this if you report immediately. 7. I am sorry for you. 8. You can trust Me if you like, if you can't trust what I said, think, WHY YOUR FRIEND DOESN'T USE HIS SIM TO REMOVE FACTORY RESET PROTECTION ? if the sim doesn't matter? 2 Likes |

meshachdbuzz: That's not correct. To bypass some phone's frp like some Samsung galaxy phones, u need a sim that is on pin or puk code. |

meshachdbuzz: That's email tracking (eg: google's find my device) you are talking about, what of IMEI tracking? which can be executed once the phone connect/receive network signal even without internet? I think you should re-explain to him... 1 Like 1 Share |

I believe he was trying to use your data though(subscription). To me, you're safe, you can bypass frp through wifi.. I wouldn't like it too if anyone removes my sim without my consent Next time, maybe use pin code on your sim, for protection from such and bank account hackers 1 Like |
