Good day Nairalanders, I've been searching for maritime schools that offers shipping courses and awards B.Sc and not ND or HND to their students and are accredited by NUC and where going for NYSC won't be an ache. So I came across these two schools which are
1. Southern Maritime Academy
2. Institute of Maritime and Safety Nigeria.

So my question is this
1. Is the southern academy a Federal academy or a state academy and what possible range is their fee
2. To me the second looks like a private institution but how much do you think their fee is(possible range) so that I'll know the one that'll be cost effective for me considering how things are bad.

I'll be happy to get a good reply and guidance because an organization promised to help me pay my fees but on the condition that the fees shouldn't be high so as not to exceed their budget.
Pls if anyone knows about them, I'll glad if you explain things about the schools to me.
