As the new year 2021 commence fully, one of the main aspects to look out for and improve on this year is your financial stability.

However, it is painful when you realised that your hard-earned money in your bank account has been debited without you having any idea about it.

There have been cases of people in the past revealing how their bank accounts were emptied and till date, they are still finding ways to get it back, others have lost hope completely and doing everything to get back on their feet once again.

You might not be a victim of this, however, it is best to put up measures to prevent it.

Below are some measures to take to avoid unwanted access to your bank accounts;

1. Be careful how you expose your ATM cards.

This is very crucial. The numbers on your cards are not just there for design, they are very important.

2. It is best to transfer directly from your bank account than inputting your card details online especially when you realize the website security is not safe and trusted.

3. When it comes to using your ATM cards on POS and ATMs, it is best to be very conscious and sensitive, don't look away.

4. Don't supply any password or codes to anyone, it is meant for you alone. Your bank will never call you to supply any password or pin. If you are in doubt visit your bank.

At some point, depending on your financial stability, it is advisable to have more than one bank accounts. One for your savings and others for your day to day activities. In this way, you can monitor your inflow and outflow.
