Omar Elabdellaoui, Galatasaray's star, was rushed to the hospital with concerns that he could be partially blinded in the eyes after a firework exploded in his hand while at his home celebrating the end of 2020.

After the New Year's Eve horror crash, the Norwegian defender, 29, is reported to be in critical condition.

The former Manchester City star had sustained burns to his face and damage to his eyes, with the extent of the damage not yet known, a club statement reported.
