Senior Full Stack Engineer (rails/nuxt) Needed by oraniks007: 8:36am On Jan 04, 2021
Senior Full Stack Engineer (Rails/Nuxt) urgently needed

We have thousands of customers that love our product for it’s ease of use. We’re looking for brilliant engineers that can help us deliver the next generation features our users want, without destroying the simplicity that they love.

We’re a 100% remote company and have been for several years. We’re looking for those that are self-motivated and independent. We prefer highly skilled individuals that thrive when given the autonomy to do their best work.

What you’ll be working on:
Building brand new products and features from start to finish, for both our end users and our internal team.
Propose & implement architectural improvements - we’ve only recently completed our migration to Nuxt, and there is a lot of low hanging fruit out there.
Improve our testing & build pipeline. We strongly believe in investment in tools for engineering and the team as a whole. Anything that can make us more efficient gives us more time to dedicate to new features down the road.
A special focus on pagespeed. We’d like to be one of the fastest Nuxt apps out there. Can you show us the way?

Our Stack:
Frontend: Nuxt, Vuex ORM
Design/Prototyping: Figma
Backend: Rails, Elasticsearch, Redshift
Build/Depoy: Buildkite, AWS
Communication: Slack, Linear, GitHub

About You:
You have at least 3 years JavaScript experience, ideally with a focus on Vue/Nuxt.
You have at least 3 years experience with Rails.
You're a self starter and have no problem working on a fully remote team and managing your time.
You get along with others and thrive in a collaborative, fast paced environment.

2, Backend Software Engineer(Node.js. Aws)

What We Will Expect From You

As an Engineer, your ultimate deliverable will be to effectively build a solution (or a part of it) that will be implemented in the client's business and run successfully going forward. Specifically we will expect from you:
Functioning and scalable systems that will work effectively and for a long time;

Ingenuity to come up with the most effective to build solutions with minimal complexity that meets the needed functionality;

Pro-activity to think ahead and create usable and practical systems, as opposed to just plainly following along the requirements given to you with no critical analysis;

Consistently high quality across all of your deliverables.

Depending on your level (which will be assessed during the hiring process), you will be given a matching level of responsibility (either an associate working on small tasks, an engineer working on large and complex tasks, or a lead engineer architecting the projects and leading project teams to get projects done). After each project completion, your performance will be reassessed and your level will be adjusted, which will be followed with financial rewards if success was accomplished.

You will be free to decide how you want to accomplish your goal, so long as the produced result matches our quality standards and fits in the team's overall strategy and tech base. You will be held accountable for the outcomes of your actions, and not your activities.

Requirements

We have a tight business to run and our jobs require a certain commitment to results and willingness to accept responsibility for the individual actions on the part of our employees. Therefore, we require our candidates to:
Understand that an activity by itself is useless unless it produces a useful outcome;

Be ready to self-organize and self-manage and make own decisions about what to do in order to deliver the result;

Be willing to re-examine approaches and methods when results suggest that current approaches aren't working;

Be willing to endure hard work to achieve success and not expect instant gratification;

Approach matters rigorously and analytically;

Act on the above.

The following skills/experience will be necessary:

A solid knowledge of Node.js-based back end technologies.

Experience in delivering production ready and effective applications;

Experience with complex SQL and NoSQL databases.

Experience with different APIs and complex integrations between systems.

Effective written and verbal English to communicate with our international team.

Basic understanding of DevOps and SDLC to cooperate with other developers in building the product.

The following will help:

Experience with Amazon AWS, serverless technologies, and microservices on its platform.

Experience with CRM and ERP systems such as Zoho and others.

3, Product Designer (Complex Automation Solutions)

NOTE: This is NOT a UI or a UX Designer position. The main function of this position is to design complex functional business applications and is primarily concerned with functional logic and processes. This job also doesn't have anything to do with coding, but requires to understand how systems and software work behind the scenes on a logical level.

What We Will Expect From You

As a Product Designer, your ultimate deliverable will be an effective-by-design solution that will serve the needed business objective, be simple to build and easy to implement. Specifically we will expect from you:

Functioning and relevant to the business designs focused on practicality and real life implementation;

Ingenious and minimalist solutions that will be as structured simply as possible, be easy to make, and leverage, wherever possible, ready made solutions;

Rigorously analyzed and well defined systems with little to no flaws and logical inconsistencies;

Effective work within the team with proper self-organization and direct communication.

Depending on your level (which will be assessed during the hiring process), you will be given a matching level of responsibility and matching complexity of projects. After each project completion, your performance will be reassessed and your level will be adjusted, which will be followed with financial rewards if success was accomplished.

Generally, you will be free to decide how you structure your work, so long as you produce effective results that meet our quality standard and lead to successfully completed projects. You will be held accountable for the outcomes of your actions, and not your activities.

Requirements

We have a tight business to run and our jobs require a certain commitment to results and willingness to accept responsibility for the individual actions on the part of our employees. Therefore, we require our candidates to:

Be willing to re-examine approaches and methods when results suggest that current approaches aren't working;

Be willing to endure hard work to achieve success and not expect instant gratification;

Approach matters rigorously and analytically;

Act on the above.

The following skills/experience will be necessary:

Common Sense and Practically thinking Brain;

Strong logical reasoning and analytical skills to do your research, articulate ideas in detail, and solve problems;

Ability to thoroughly analyze and understand the presented business case and the requirements for a software product that must perform business tasks in it;

Strong experience in functional feature design, understanding of not only the front end and visual parts of the software, but also the back end logic of how systems work and how software is built - note that this job has nothing to do with coding, rather with the functional logic of how applications work;

Basic understanding of consistent UX and legible UI - note that this is not a UI/UX designer position (UX and UI by themselves make up less than 20% of the job) however when defining front end features, we do expect interfaces to be workable and usable;

Proactivity to come up with solutions and follow their implementation without supervision;

Ingenuity in being able to figure out effective solutions with limited available resources and technology;

Ability to withstand tough pressure and go up steep learning curves. The first project is typically a big learning curve for any hired candidate. Persistence and perseverance is essential.

Good verbal and written English to communicate clearly with our international team;

The following will help:

Experience with CRM/ERP systems, programmable telephony, and other niche technologies;

Experience with large scale software implementations in complex internal business operations;

Experience with modeling and design tools.
