Genesis 1:1-3

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

This Scripture paints a situation alot of people have found themselves at this present time. Haven escaped a year filled with so much uncertainty, anxiety, economic downturn and social unrest, quite a number of people have lost their jobs, businesses have collapsed, inflation on the rise with no end in sight.

God almighty was faced with this kind of scenario at the beginning and He did something tragic: He spoke. God made a magnificent planet from a formless entity through the power of word.

Hebrews 11:3
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

This goes to show how powerful words are, and as children of God, we have to learn to use the power of the spoken word to our advantage.

Job Chapter 22 verses 28, 29 says

Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up...

Brothers and sisters, you can change your world by your words, whatever good you want to see in your life can be set in motion by speaking God's word constantly concerning that situation. This is the more reason you have to flood your mind with God's word and do contanst meditation according until it becomes part of you. The Bible says in Proverbs 18 Verse 21

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

As a Child of God, you must learn to stop bad mouthing yourself, the devil already got people around to do that job. We must chose to speak life over every situation of our life as it affects us.. Declare that you are strong, say it with your mouth, I am rich and healthy, am laying up gold as dust. I will lend to the nations, I will give big time for the Gospel to spread around the globe. Hallelujah! Don't be propelled by your current status, it's a temporary state! You are heading somewhere and you will testify. Give the Lord some praise!
