Why Does Christmas Seem Less Exciting With Each Passing Year? by memd: 10:48pm On Jan 06, 2021 |
Has Mr. Grinch finally succeeded in stealing Christmas? The spirit of the season seems to have been lost, and each year, there's less and less hype and excitement about the whole thing. Not only that, even other seasons like New Year and even birthdays seem to follow the same trend. Did Christmas feel less exciting for you the last time around? Take a minute and share why that is.

You might be right but in my case, it is the exact opposite...you may call it an anomaly. Last Christmas was the best I have ever had and I pray and wish that 2021 shall be better and more interesting. |

doggedfighter: Nahhh. there's absolutely nothing to celebrate i think it has to do more with the increasing poverty level, the current recession & economic meltdown, the lockdown, the 2nd lockdown, having Jubril as a president, being Nigerian, etc.. Me I dey fly go back lag by weekend. At least, the hustle and bustle keeps us preoccupied and stressed out to the extent we don't get to think about the constant nagging depression that's slowly killing us. We come back home worn out and hit our beds till the next day. Zoned out. For people who don't find satisfaction in their work, they turn to alcohol, drugs or sex... or a spending spree to zone off. Others toy with the idea of taking the easy way out |

CandyOps: If ''being Nigerian'' is a problem for you, why don't you emigrate? You won't be missed, I assure you. |
