I wish philosophy can be subscribed as a subject in our secondary schools. Hence learn moral principles, cultural history, political history, and metaphysical realities of life.

First it will help our Incoming generation not to loose moral values of our ancient past. Rather when they are trained to make recourse to history, they will be able to do and engage in better future projects. As deep knowledge of cultural values and belief system is the weapon of true hereditary.

Second, it will provide jobs for our philosophy students. Because many of them are not recognized and rated after being a graduate. Hence if they don't aspire to become a lecturer too, career is mostly difficult for them to navigate.

In conclusion, the fathers of philosophy are primarily teachers, teaching the societal members ethical concepts. What is right and wrong. Such concept needed to be taught at early stage, and the truth is such concepts are not in any of the secondary subjects. That's why when students get to tertiary institutions, and being taught philosophy, it is alien to them and they become scared.

Logic and Reasoning is a wonderful concept in philosophy. It should be introduced earlier.

It is not about what you have studied in university. It is about what you can offer and how determined you are.

Check out, most graduates of professional courses like Medicine, Law, Pharmacy, Nursing and what have you are mostly living average life while those ones that studied the courses you claim are useless breakthrough more in politics, businesses, banking, entertainment and so on. So, don't be depressed or discouraged if you are one rather you should step up and use your brain.

Even your president's secondary school certificate is controversial yet he directs the affairs of over 200m Nigerians.
