A new date has been announced by the National university Commission for the resumption of full academic activities in Nigerian universities. The date has been announced following the suspension of a Ten month strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) after the Federal Government finally agreed to pay all their withheld salarieThis was confirmed by the NUC's Deputy executive secretary Chris Maiyaki , on behalf of the executive secretary Professor Abubakar Rasheed ,and therefore directed all university Vice Chancellors to resume school activities on the 18 of January ,2021.
