Akwa United Records First Victory in the NPFL, beat Abia Warriors, as Harrison Ibukun score for Warriors

There was tension throughout the play as Abia warriors paraded three former Dakkada FC players in their starting lineup against the Uyo based Akwa United FC.

Ndifreke Effiong who once played for Abia Warriors netted his second goal in the 59th minutes through a penalty after former Dakkada FC goalie Vincent Edafe fouled Wisdom Fernando in the 16-yard box.
