This is a LIE. This is purely the refurnished version of the massacre that took place on Friday when a motorist refused to pay a #100 bribe. The driver was beaten he then went ahead to mobilize his colleagues and they were unfortunately murdered. The report am quoting is very deceptive. I am from there and I know most of the diseased

Besides Evidently they failed to protect the border (their main duty) hence why someone can smuggle foreign rice into the country(if that story is true)

These people sieze trailer loads of rice and share it among themselves, they confiscate turkey and other poultry products but they steal from it and open shops for their wives

These people impound cars and eventually if you come with customs duty fees and penalties ( most times never gets to the treasury) your car is nowhere to be found

This report is trash, Nairaland should post authentic information please, as this report is far from been true, the ugly incidence happened in my local government area and this post doesn't in anyway relate or explain totl the public what transpired to the killing of five not even three as reported.

Trouble started when a driver from Ilesha Baruba coming from Sinawu market refused to bride the army in the checking point for the second time after paying #200 in the morning which leads to a heated argument between the army and the driver, so in the process, the army slapped the man and siezed his vehicle, then the man when inside town to call other drivers and some youths for intervention, but unfortunately, the army thought they're coming to retaliate which leads to blood bath.

The whole of the story reported is false, this incidence happened in my local government area, the tension was triggered when a driver refused to pay #200 for the send time in the same day...
