Topic: Hope In Dark Times

Text: 1 Kings 19:1-17

Our text opens with the Prophet Elijah. Elijah was a great man who wrought miracles, signs, and wonders in his times. He worked with much power but yet he dealt with depression and wished his life could be taken.

Many can relate to this testimony. You have good and bad times. You are blessed on all sides but there is trouble and there is no peace. It looks like there’s too much going on, you can see God but yet you can’t believe.

Regardless of what your circumstances show, be encouraged because there is a mark upon you. You are marked with a seal, anointed, and have Christ on the inside. That's why when the enemies wanted to destroy you, somehow, something restrained them. The enemy cannot touch God's anointed.
