10 years ago, Akpos was a 100 level student in Uniport and he needed extra money from the pocket money he was receiving from his parents. At the time, he was a engineering student but he wanted to develop his computer skills.

After lectures, he would spend time at a cyber cafe his friend's elder brother owned learning Web design and development. In a year he had developed his skills and 10 months after he launched an e-commerce site and made over 400 million naira in 10 million transactions.
