BUT for the vigilance of the Anti-Bomb Disposal Unit, Nigeria Police Force, the last lap of the political rally by the Action Congress of Nigeria ( ACN) in Osun State may have ended in disaster yesterday. A strange object suspected to be a bomb was discovered to have been cleverly concealed under a podium constructed for the rally in Okuku, the headquarters of Odo-Otin Local Council.  Governor Rauf Aregbesola was expected to lead the campaign train to the venue near Okuku community town hall when the object was discovered. But the state Police Commissioner, Mr. Solomon Olusegun, said the object was a grenade and not a bomb, adding that investigation had begun.
